new from Tahoe zone

Just getting into the whole archery thing currently. been shooting for about 3-4 months now. really enjoying it. Have no experience hunting and am looking forward to getting into it. I have spent many years traveling the backcountry alpine climbing and skiing and am an avid endurance athlete. Really excited to use those skills to get out hunting. Trying to sort out some hunts in NV, CA, and OR this season and start figuring it out. Fired up for any advice to a new person figuring this out.
