When they allow centerfire rifles to be used for turkeys, I may think about hunting them. Until then, turkey season would be a great time for a revolution.

With this new TSS stuff, there isn't much difference.

I'm still running old lead 2 3/4 #4's. I'm just an old curmudgeon, I still run it the way I've done for 50+ years. a little slower, a little more movement because of joints and hurts, oh well, less than a month to go for us.

Today in Hungary there are very few gun crimes because shooters can only legally own guns through membership in hunting clubs or shooting clubs and the licensing requirements are rediculous. No open or cc. Ask the gun owners who have had to turn in guns how good it turned out.

More than one FFL friend has told me good things about the ATF agents being fine folk just doing their jobs during audits. So, I’m not sure why there’s not a mass ATF agent exodus from an organization that purposely sets up predawn raids (while most are sleeping) on non-felons with actual jobs for the obvious purpose of getting into a one-sided fire fight so the ATF agents can play pretend special forces.

A “search warrant” without a “warrant for an arrest” doesn’t require a high IQ James Bond like spy to say, hey, let’s just wait until this family heads off to work and school, then initiate the search. But then - the ATF wouldn’t get to play pretend Seal Team 6.

For the sake of civil liberties, hopefully the Trump admin will do whatever it takes to change this forever.

Ya it's like I said I liked Macho Man Randy Savage during a job interview someone would say "oh man you know he likes Macho Man he's going to be chomping meat sticks and clotheslining customers ooohhh ya!!"

Curious here given the amount of copper bbs my young self sent at anything I could kill in my vicinity. Are there all copper shot options for shotguns? Or does the use of steel shot nullify the need for those types of options? Seems like it would likely be cheaper than TSS or similar options.

Not from Baltimore either. Can you imagine having no criminal record, you and your spouse both have jobs, 2 children in school, are breaking no gun laws, but the ATF, on a work/school day, with only a search warrant, i.e. no warrant for arrest, performs a predawn raid on your home, tosses a flashbang into your living room, destroys your property, the ATF Dog(s) S—t’s all over your house, including in your daughters bed, and finds nothing?
