State agencies not sold on new chronic wasting disease test option

A company started by a University of Minnesota researcher is selling a new testing option for chronic wasting disease in white-tailed deer. Some state lawmakers want the state to use the new test, but state agencies aren't on board.

That is huge news and they sound promising. It’s a shame that the regulatory process will hold these up as the the clock is ticking. It would be awesome to get these in hunters hands by this fall or at checkpoints to at least get an idea of the scope of its spread.
I think there is plenty of emerging science on Prion diseases, now we need to fully understand CWD to beat it someday.
