I started the 41-week Military Athlete Foundational Plan v1.1 at the beginning of December in order to improve my fitness for backcountry hunting and am really enjoying it, so much so that I'm going to sign up for my first race just to see what it's like. I noticed, when going back to peruse their site, that they just released their first hunter-focused program in the 28-week Hunting Training Plan. You can see some example weeks of the plan on the TrainingPeaks site. I'm going to stick with the plan I'm on now, but this might be of interest for people looking for a new training plan to explore.
FYI this is from the author behind Training for the Uphill Athlete, Scott Johnston, and his team at Evoke Endurance.
