New arrows, what spine?

Well I'm down to 6 arrows and going to tac so gonna need more arrows lol. My setup is an elite e35 73 lb @30". My arrows currently are victory rip 300 with 175 up front and weigh about 465gr. I really like the arrow but I think it's a little weak. I originally had 65lb limbs on the bow so it was fine then. Can I get by with 300s or should I look into some 250 spine? Id like to be around 475-500 taw and 150-175 up front. Any suggestions?

What length have you been using the shafts at?

If draw length is 30", you could probably have them as short as 28".
On that bow, just kinda guessing, but 300 spine probably be good to 29 or 29.5 with 175 on the front. The E series didn't push a spine too hard. If you are shooting 31" shafts, probably need more than 300's.

I'll have to double check, but I cut them shorter, like 29.5 or so. I'll have to check out that program and play around with it

On my E35s, 29”, 70#, I shot Axis 5mm 340 for years with 100 grain heads.
Bumped up to 125 and then up to Axis 300. On the chart, it’s a bit on the stiff side, but I like the extra weight and they shoot great.
Shooting 300s out of my E35, Remedy and Axius Ultra. Oh ya, a 27 3/8” arrow, weighs in at 481.

What makes you think your current arrows are too weak? If broadheads are grouping well and hitting alongside field points, your spine is fine.

If you're insistent on getting new arrows, you'll need a shaft between 9.3 and 11.0 gpi to hit your desired TAW range assuming a 29" carbon-to-carbon length and 30 gr of nock + vane weight. OT2Go (the mobile app version of Pinwheel's spine calculator) says a 300 spine shaft would be slightly weak of "optimal" with the assumptions listed below.
Bow inputs: 330 fps IBO, 73# DW, 30" DL, 34.75" ATA, 7" BH, 85% LO
Arrow 1: 29" C2C, 11.0 gpi, 150 gr front weight, 30 gr rear weight, 499 gr TAW, 292 dynamic spine

Arrow 2: 29" C2C, 9.3 gpi, 175 gr front weight, 30 gr rear weight, 475 gr TAW, 284 dynamic spine

Below are some 250-300 spine shaft options with gpi's that would allow you to hit your target TAW:

It mostly in my head because I know they're on the weaker side, and I wanted to check if I should switch spines if I'm getting more arrows. I think I'll stick with the 300s though, I appreciate you running those numbers for me
