Anybody have any advice???

I was there last year on a late spike hunt and saw a few deer but didn’t really venture far into the unit as the elk were down low. Plan on bivy in or can car camp in my 4x4 and can schedule up to 7ish days off before I need to take PTO. Whatever helps to my advantage.

Didn’t recover but 99% positive it was a very survivable wound to the lower leg. Wasn’t in 81 but in a nearby unit. Didn’t see any elk in 81 but know for a fact they are there.

Yes it is, they run the rifle hunt in Dec/Jan.
