I bought this new in 2018 and used it on 4 hunts. I'm going down to a size small frame and the MR Sawtooth model with a larger pouch, hoping for an overnight someday.
I'm 6-1 and 170lbs, 32-33 waist. The MR size chart says that a "medium" is ideal for me but I did have the waist belt cinched nearly to max when fully weighted. So, I think a larger waisted person would do fine with this.
Never hauled meat, unfortunately. Mostly used early mornings near home for weighted pack workouts. I put a 60lbs weight vest into the load shelf and hiked for an hour, a few times a week, the last two seasons. You'll note some wear on the right side belt from the Kifaru gun bearer and on the pack frame from the weight workouts. Otherwise, it's pristine.
