I have a mystery ranch Metcalf pack and am looking to add nalgene holders to the waist belt for easy access while hiking. Having looked at mystery ranches option I am not a fan. What other options are out there?

I ordered the kifaru ones, but havent figured out a great way to attach them. If anyone has any tricks I would I would love to use what I already have.

A bit of a self serving comment but I like to run stuff on my hip belt - water bottle pouch, general purpose pouch and a dump pouch. I also attach a gun bearer on occasion. When I switched from MR NICE frames to guidelight frames I missed the molle attachments. After trying a few attachment options I bought a set of molle sleeves made by Pods8 of rugged stitching. They work great and give you a lot of molle options without a lot of weight.

(Beware of shameless plug>>>) I recently upgraded my guidelight frame to the guidelight MT frame so I don’t need my molle sleeves anymore and am selling them. Or you can buy straight from Pods8. Great dude and easy to deal with.

I sewed an attachement on the back of my Kifaru pouch for it to work with Guide Light. It works pretty well, but I've also heard good things about Pods8 covers.

If they are foliage I'll take them off your hands.

I just use this Gonex bottle holder. $13. It fits a nalgene but slightly too tight to easily slip in and out while wearing pack. I opt for lighter Aquafina or smart water bottles and easy to access and never fall out.

Pods8 made this nalgen pouch, it’s awesome.
I bought extras for my hunting buddies. I have a Kigali gun bearer on the other side of pack.95533908-B254-4034-90D0-15C1B2408FCF.jpeg
