My New Years Eve/Day Getaway

Laurie joined me at Camp Serenity for a nice little escape from the concrete jungle. As usual, no animals died in the making of this adventure, but a good time was had by all. Shadow was so excited to get in her pool, when she got out she had the zoomies like she was a pup all over again. She blasted up and down the berm and plowed back into her pond over and over again. The night was dark, the sky star filled, the fire refreshingly warm, the sounds of nature hypnotizing and the camper cozy on a crisp cool eve. The Smores didn't suck. My camera caught a surprise visitor on Christmas Eve. Happiness on a hunting trip takes many shapes.
