Good ol’ southern Arizona Coues. Just a little forky. All that meat went in my belly! Unfortunately, many novice mistakes were made post deboning but many lessons were learned.

Hunting in the enviroment has got to be something. Being is wisconsin....i drag mine out whole and usually hang them for a day or two....weather usually allows for that in late october- november.
The law didnt allow for boning out deer until a year or two ago...and there are times it would have been nice to have that option. I’ve never done it in the field though.

Great Coues buck! what time of year was this and archery or rifle? I'm thinking of heading down to Arizona in January of 2020 to try some Coues/mule deer hunting and putting my license needed for tag applications to use..
