My daily food pack

Just thought I’d post a picture of what I carry in my pack for food for the day. I am also going to bring a pepperoni roll. Total calories of what is pictured is 2400. On top of that will be my dinner and whatever else I eat when I get back to camp. There’s no way I’ll eat all of this in a day, but I like to be prepared.

Loiks like roughly twice what I take in my pack per day. I never eat everything I take either and often question why I carry the weight unnecessarily.

I convince myself it's just in case I end up staying out overnight or longer than planned.

The weight isn’t too bad. 20 ounces. So roughly 120 calories / ounce. But yeah, more of a just in case type of deal. I’d rather have a little too much
