A thread from last year on tripods got me wanting to switch up my CA Ridgeline to make it more long range friendly and to make it more me. So back in January I ordered up a AG composites AG adjustable hunter in neon green carbon camo. I put a 10" Henderson Precision swiss Arca rail on the forend and did a full action bedding job. The scope is a Zeiss 3-18 V6 sitting in Extreme hardcore gear rings and 20MOA base. Before the overhaul it would shoot 1/2" groups with 181gr. Hammer bullets.

Great looking rifle. How do you like the ziess v6?
Like it a lot, it tracks true, and isn't stupid heavy. Zero hasn't drifted at all, and the reticle isn't cluttered. When I was looking for a scope for this rifle it checked off all the boxes, This will be my 4th year with it and have zero complaints.

Looks great! What tripod and head are you running there?
The tripod is what ever one nightforce is having made for them, it looks an awful lot like a Field optic. If I would of found the field optic branded one first I would of bought it instead but for optics it works pretty good. And the head is a RRS BH-40 series ball head.
For shooting I have a Really Right Stuff versa TVC-33 MK2
tripod on back order and will transfer the ball head to the new tripod as soon as it shows up.

What's a Winny?

Always great to see a plan come together...that is quite the improvement. Did you bed it yourself?

I am considering doing some of the same for my Weatherby Backcountry but since I would need to bring it to a smith to get the barrel threaded, I might as well let him bed it too.

Ya I did the bedding its not too difficult, this makes maybe 5 o 6 I've done although this is the first full action job I've done.
