Muzzle breaks and accuracy

Has anyone seen a negative effect to group size using a break vs no break?

Nope. POI shift after installing/removing, but no effect on accuracy.
Reduced recoil was a big plus, vast noise increase was a bigger minus.
In the end the negatives outweighed the positive & I scrapped it.
This was on a Savage Hog Hunter, .308

You just need to screw a can onto that brake and the noise issue goes away

Being a non-citizen does have a few disadvantages.....This is one of them. A can is a no-no for me.

I read that as you were in Canada or some other lame state that doesn’t allow suppressors. LOL, I’m from a really small town, they don’t let me talk to outsiders much

I haven’t had a break that affected accuracy much yet. POI shift is normal anytime you thread something on the muzzle.

Even the most poorly designed brake will not have a negative effect on accuracy. Only two reasons why it would, a baffle strike (think of accuracy in feet, not inches), or a brake that is torqued too tight inducing stress into the barrel. This is also a no-no and should be avoided.

No effect on accuracy. just don't like to hunt with them. work great at the range.
