I'm taking my annual trip out to W KS this weekend. I'm going to swing up north by St Francis/Atwood to start with to try some WIH for the first time on some ground that looks cut up pretty good. It's supposed to be windy and cold on Friday. I should expect to find deer bedded in gulleys out of the wind facing the south, correct? Most things I've read say they like the shade, but it's suppose to be 20 degrees Friday morning with 40 mph winds.
