Mule deer high country in CO

I’ve heard a lot of backpacking hunts in CO for high Alpine but I also see roadways in some of the videos I’ve seen in some of it as well. I’m a 3-5 mile guy as far as packing in. I usually hunt solo, does anyone have recommendations ? I’ve got one point but don’t really have a plan yet. I’m considering 3rd season hunts or a early archery.
