Easiest way to find elk is to look for deer instead . Good luck!

It's definitely not country where I'd expect to find elk but won't hesitate to kill one if I do. I have a buddy that killed a raghorn in eastern deer country a few years ago. He had to do a double take then it dawned on him that it was a legal bull and he had a tag. Although, he could probably find a legal bull in a Walmart parking lot.
