Mountain Laurel Designs Duomid XL Pyramid/Tipi
Used Mountain Laurel Design's Duomid XL for sale -- $345 OBO
I've used this tipi/pyramid/tarp a total of 10 nights.
For a single person, the interior is palatial -- plenty of head room. For two people, their packs, and a dog, it was more than enough to stay organized and clutter free. For minimalists, it is a dream come true. Set up requires tent stakes (8 total...which I can include for an extra $15) and a treking pole (not included). The tarp itself is 22 ounces and condenses down to less than the size of a Nalgene.
All seams have been sealed according to the Mountain Laurel Designs specs and procedures listed on their website using SilNet. I've spent one night in the tarp during a consistent 8 hour rain storm and there were no leaks. There is one tear which I've repaired according to the procedures on the Mountain Laurel Designs website and it is located in probably the best possible place near a corner. I've included a picture.
A more full review can be found here:Gear Review: Mountain Laurel Design Duomid – Ultralight and Comfortable
Purchase price is $375 and given the minor tear, I'll part ways with it for $345 or any reasonable offer. If you'd like the stakes, $360. I'll ship anywhere in lower 48.
Any questions, I'm happy to answer.
