Montana preference point question

I have a quick question.

If I purchase a preference point between now and December for Montana, will I be able to also purchase one with my application next year so I could go into the draw with 2pt?

Yes you can go into next year's draw with 2 doing as you described.

Take a minute or two and read the rewritten bonus/preference point page on the MT FWP site. It is much more clear than it used to be.

As long as you did not apply this year. If you applied this year and didn't buy a point you cant purchase a point until next year.
