Molle 2 on a 1606 frame

I decided to try a molle 2 bag on a 1606 frame. The 1606 frame is also the frame used for the new USMC ruck called the filbe. I like the filbe a lot, but I figured it would be nice to have an extra pack around for friends or family. I had an extra filbe frame and pad set laying around already. I ordered a multicam molle 2 complete with sustainment pouches. I have not seen it done on the internet, but I had a hunch it would swap over pretty easy. If one wanted, they could order the complete pack and a 1606 frame separate, and everything will swap over from what I can tell. I think the filbe is an improvement over the molle 2/1606 hybrid setup, but it is a lot cheaper than getting a filbe at the moment. I think the 1603 frame with a kifaru cargo panel would make a great pack also. Myself and a couple of friends did 22.5 miles in 10.5 hrs and the molle 2 did well, but it was only at 38 lbs with load. I carried the filbe at 55 lbs and I was wishing I had some load lifters by the end of it.

I just put a kifaru cargo panel on a 1603 molle gen 4 frame. I also picked up a kuiu ultra 3000 bag. I mainly need a day pack and a frame to handle elk quarters. I'm just getting it put together now.

Here's what it looks like. Luggage installed to show the loaded cargo panel.
