Selling a modified Two Vets The Ruck tripod. I removed 5” of the center post because I thought it was too long, it would add versatility on varying terrain, and mostly that I would never need the full length.

The modification accomplished what I needed and functions flawlessly. You do lose the hook for adding weight at the bottom of the center post, but otherwise this is a gain of function in my opinion. It's the off-season, so it's gear shuffle time, and I am trying something new.

I carried this tripod for 20+ field days between summer and fall, and it’s been out on many range days, so there is some VERY light wear, but it’s in excellent condition.

Weighs 2lb 6oz as pictured.

Could I shoot prone with this tripod?

Sent from my SM-G781V using Tapatalk

It’s 48” tall fully extended without the center post extended - you wouldn’t shoot with the center post extended. You could not shoot with this prone due to the center post. I have shot from it sitting and kneeling. Glassed sitting on the ground or from a stool at the range.
