Any budding home gunsmiths out there? How about folks who want to start building parts for their rigs, trailers, or whatever else comes to mind? Well… Sounds like you need a lathe and a mill!

Low and behold, I have a pair that might just fit the bill perfectly.

Hardinge TM toolroom mill — horizontal milling machine with the vertical head attachment and allot of extras. Mill has a single phase motor, so the drum switches were bypassed by a previous owner. I have a new VFD that will go with it, that will allow for infinite speed control without belt changes. This model comes equipped by design with x axis power feed.

Logan 1957 Lathe. 11x36. The spindle bore is just large enough to accept a standard barrel profile (including carbon magnum/bull), but not bigger cheytacs/50s. Lathe is single phase as well, and ran well before I tore it down and started into a restoration this winter. Body work will be finished and paint complete prior to sale.

They are both awesome machines, but I’m selling all my old iron in favor of some larger new machines. I just got a contract for some bigger stuff, and I seem to be doing a fair amount of job shop work too. Sooo, I ordered a larger knee mill, radial drill, and 16” lathe, and these need to go.

$6,500 for both. Local pickup only in Blackfoot, ID.
