Mice and small rodent game cam pics?

I'm conducting field research and would like to monitor mice and small mammals. I was wondering if anyone has picked these up with game cams pointed towards the ground or at ground level? I did a web search and couldn't find much info. I did see where someone baited mice inside a small box with a game cam attached. Thanks for your responses!

Yes I use reconyx cameras and have used them to see rats and mice several times. Works great. I set them on a real small ( low) tripod.

I imagine most of your pics are at night?

Yes, a few in the late after noon, before dark.

This was taken with my phone. First time I've seen a squirrel eating a mushroom, picked it fresh.

I used an old trail camera once in my office, pointed at a mousetrap. Set the camera right on the floor a few feet away. Surprisingly, I got 2 or 3 videos of the little bugger. The last one was his final appearance. anywhere. Got him.

I put a cheaper one on a mouse trap at home. Got the kill on it!
