I have a Mesa Altitude stock for a Tikka and an AG composites for a Rem 700, both pillar bedded. What would you torque the stock bolts to?

I torque my AG stock to 65 in. lbs. with my bighorn origin.

Its un-bedded, just has the factory installed aluminum pillars. Shoots great.

I called Mesa when I put their altitude stock on a Tikka and asked this question. They recommended torquing to whatever the bottom metal manufacturer recommended.

Mostly manufacturers are going to say 65 in/lbs. Your screw toward the barrel is generally going to be considered the most important. If you where to torque one more than the other, set that one more. Example: 60 at the barrel 50 at the tang. Whatever you do just be consistent if you ever take it apart again.
