I'm in the market for an improvement over my Dinner pronghorns and find myself conflicted. The cabelas meindl Alaska are intriguing but I'm not sure if they are too much boot for the majority of the hott weather hunting I do. Rei can order any lowa boot for me so maybe I'm better off trying the lowa Tibet. What's your input on the comparison between the two. I will be doing some high country backpack hunting for several days at a time where waterproof warmth and stiffness are needed as well. All advice helps fellas thanks

The Meindl Alaskas fit me like Hanwags and the Meindl Canadians fit me very much like Lowas (except the Renegade). I would suggest getting the Lowas from REI and trying them out due to their return policy. Then get to a cabelas and try the Meindl in person.
