Never hunted a recovering fire area...seems like it could be an interesting hunt.

I was always told that fire areas the fall after a fire are always very productive because of the nutrients in the grass. I think I remember hearing that there is something like 10x as much nutrients or protein in the grasses than in non fire areas. Could be wrong.

Those boys in Colorado are about to have a whole lot of new areas recovering from a fire.
It’s no joke. I live right here where the Cameron peak fire is and it’s crazy. I grew up in Loveland and never thought a fire would come this close let alone travel that far from Cameron’s pass.

Crazy how bad of a year it’s been up there for y’all. Hoping something changes and everything gets under control.
