McMillan HTG stock question

Have any of you used the McMillan HTG stock? I have a chance to pick one up cheap for my Weatherby Vanguard .270 Win rifle but have not used one. I am looking mostly for a hunting stock, and am mostly looking at this McMillan because of McMillan’s excellent reputation and the fact that I can get it for a good price.

I’m also wondering whether or not this stock would handle/look weird with a standard spotter contour barrel? I know it’s made for heavy contour barrels and, as shallow as it is, I don’t want a goofy looking rifle.

It will look like too much clearance, but it'll work great. If you don't want it....sign me up.
