Mcmillan edge weight

Thinking of putting one of these stocks on my rem model 7, it currently has a youth model wood stock on it with the Schnabel for end. Anyone ever bought a mcedge? Or know what real world weights they are? It would be in the same lop as the youth stock.

I once dropped a 7-08 stainless M7 in an Edge and really liked the combo. It balanced much better. Don't recall the precise weight but it was as advertised.

Thanks for the post, mine is also a 7-08. Did you have it bedded or did you drop it in and not worry about it?

I dropped it in and floated the barrel. Made for a really light, handy package.

I wouldn't go that route for hunting thick cover because the edge is noisy with brush scraping it compared to wood.

This a brush hunting rifle almost exclusively, that is a bit of info I have not read anywhere else. I appreciate it.
