Mauser M18 mag length?

Just wondering if anybody has loaded for an M18 in .308, and what the max coal could be in them? I see they are a 1:11, but you could still load 180 shock hammers if you wanted (twist-wise).

I don’t know I’m just taking a guess being it’s a short action and what little google searching 2.81-2.82 at most to feed from the mag

It's a short action cartridge in a long action receiver - like a tikka. I was just wondering if anyone had loaded for one as you might get much more length (possibly) than a typical short action. Or, if a 30-06 magazine would work in the. 308 - sky is the limit.

I have one in 30-06. Haven't measured the mag though. I can when I get home. In a several hours

Batteries on my calipers died. But looks like it should be right around of 3.380
