Maui goat/pig hunt

I am planning on going to Maui in january/february. How is the diy hunting there for pigs and goats? Is there a fair amount of access into the hunt units?

yea the deer are all on private so if you want to hunt deer you have to go guided. they all drop their horns that time of year though. the public is pretty bad bc theres so little of it and what is available gets hunted year round. There's been a very bad drought too. honestly would just go to the beach. I really don't get paying all that money to go to maui and lugging all your gear, paying extra luggage fees etc just to hunt goats
