Looking to get a tough durable target and am torn between the Matrix or the Spyderweb. This is primarily to be used in my backyard/garage. Anyone recommend one over the other.

If it’s strictly for field tips then Spyderweb is really hard to beat. We use them on our shop range and they’re phenomenal. But if you’re wanting to use broad heads also then go with the matrix

Never used the matrix, but like OR Archer said, if you are only going to shoot field tips, the spyderweb is hard to beat. I got my first spyderweb somewhere around 10 years ago and it lasted 6-7 years, and I'm currently shooting my second one.

My outdoor target is a homemade one that is awesome for field tips as well.. Got the faces from Third Hand Archery..worst part is collecting enough clothes for the fill.

Another that you might consider it a Big Shot. I feel like it is very comparable to a spiderweb. I have had one that’s been hammered on for 5 years. Easy arrow removal and zero shoot throughs.

Matrix is fine if you only shoot field points. It's big and the arrows pull out pretty easy. But they get tore up by broadheads just as fast as anything else. Replacing cells isn't really economical as you think. If you shoot alot of broadheads just buy a cheap block target. Thrash it and throw it away.
