Hey guys I'm pretty excited, I drew my first out of state hunt this year. I'm sure I might have some company in this area but I would like to get as far away from people as I can. Me and a buddy drew the UT early wasatch west deer tag. I grew up in idaho and have hunted there all my life. I have found google earth to be a big help finding new places to hunt but I have had a hard time finding good maps to take to the feild and to mark up places to checkout.

Anyone have any specific maps they have and love? Any recommendations. I have a garmin Oregon and the software. But I would like a really detailed topo I think. Any info would be great. Also is there any tutorials online anywhere to help learn how to read a topo map for scouting deer and or hunting?

Does anyone have any specific info on which map would be best for this area?

Thanks in advance for any and all info. I love rokslide forum.

I use this one to print topos. I save the image, then take it to FeEx and print it on bigger paper. Costs about $3.00 to print them.

Just click new map in the upper left hand corner, then click the four little squares (next to the print icon) in the upper left and you can switch between imagery and topo.
