Manners LRH question

Wondering if anyone has successfully got a proof comp contour barrel into an LRH or is there not enough on the stock to get it to work?
Thinking about having a steel barrel and a carbon for a switch barrel practice/ hunting setup

They list M24, which is a whisker smaller. You sure you want a barrel that heavy in a stock that light? Even with a short barrel balance would be...compromised.

That’s just what proof sells off the shelf for prefits. Was really hoping to just order one for cheap and slap it on there instead of having to order a custom cut one and wait 10+ weeks. I’m not too worried about how it would balance, but I can’t imagine it would be that bad. Extremely possible that I’m way off base there. Certainly wouldn’t be the first time I was wrong

Kinda thought that might be the motivation. That isn't going to be a good time. The nearest comp contour barrel I have vs an entire Seekins Havak PH2 w/ 24" barrel is within 4 oz.

If you're looking for something fast, cheap, and on the shelf I'd checkout the barrel nut prefits from Northland Shooter Supply. For a more $ but also more options there's a lot of places that do prefits to your spec, and fairly quickly.
