The US Naval War College has some historians with a lot of depth into what has been happening in the world the past 100+ years and why that has shaped where we are today. I love history, but it’s often talked about in tiny bits and connections aren’t made - Sally (Sarah) Paine does such a good job making all the connections with modern wars and conflicts that this and other of her videos has been a paradigm changer. If you enjoy lectures and already have a basic understanding of world history this is full of good stuff. Not many historians talk about maritime vs continental economies and how operational success vs long term strategic success shape the world.

The mess in Ukraine has had more of an impact on my shooting than anything else that’s happened in my lifetime, so these help put what’s happening in context.
