Makeover on my 6.5 Grendel!

Just finished a makeover on my 6.5 Grendel!!

Pre-makeover

I took it to the range this winter and my groups went to hell. After a lengthy inspection I discovered my Midwest Industries Handguard was bent and making contact with the gas block. My quest for the right hand guard spanned several months but didn't find anything I really liked with the features I was looking for. I finally convinced Andy Hobein over at Grendel Hunter into making a 17" M-lok Handguard for me and received it last Friday.

I went to work and splashed a new coat of cerakote on her (burnt bronze). I think it turned out pretty good!!

Looks good! How do you like the side charge? I've shot them a bunch on FALs, AKs and some others but never on a DI platform.

I love it!!! I'll never own one that's not a side charge.
