Sold Lyman Great Plains Rifle Hunter .50cal

For sale Lyman GPR Hunter Model .50cal percussion muzzleloader. The Hunter model has the faster 1:32 rate of twist to accommodate shooting sabots and conicals rather than only round balls. It is also pre-drilled and tapped for the optional 57 GPR receiver sight. This rifle has maybe 20 rounds through it. I just find myself using my other muzzleloader more and need to thin the herd.
The butt plate has a scrape/scuff on it from hitting concrete and the stock's finish has some scuff marks as well (can easily be refinished, I have restained the stock).


Retails for $790, I am seeing used prices in the $500-$550 range.
