Mrs. Claus put a Lyman Xpress Case Prep station under the tree for me. Was setting it up tonight. It came with the little tub of dry lube and the instruction say to just dip the neck in it. I've been using the Hornady lube that came with my other stuff for a few years now. The Hornady stuff obviously lube the outside of the entire case. So my question is, is just dipping the neck in to the dry lube good to go without lubing the outside of the entire case for sizing?

Thanks in advance,

TM

lube your case body and usual, the dry lube is typically for inside / outside of the neck.
Thanks. If that is the case (no pun intended) I might as well just keep using the Hornady spray lube. No point double lubing.

Dry/graphite lube is primarily used with expanding or turning mandrels, not meant for full length case sizing.
