Luck and smart bucks

Hunt them long enough and you have those one that out did us all. The one that must have died of old age. Here is one ,I finally got a shot at and didn't see the tiny defection. He never got killed on pa public land. I find the photo later but this is one that keeps getting lucky, out of range or giving me a good shot when I taged out. Last year he peaked out . I have 5 years of photos of him.

The one I got deflected on , the next year he went way down hill the never seen again. As I set here in a stand they creep back in to my mind. Let here about some of the ones that have cost you sleep.

Monster buck. They get big by not making too many mistakes, they leave those for us.

It never fails, towards end of season I get deer on camera I havnt seen before. I only assume they are typically pretty methodical till after rut they need food and give in to survival.
