UPDATE: HE IS SAFE AND HOME

Good morning everyone. I’m looking for help finding my cousin/hunting buddy who went missing Monday afternoon. Here is what we know.

As it stands now I know:

- he hasn't been active on social media. Still has a FB account
- he hasn't left a note
- bought a new phone
- withdrew $1000
- License plate 2014 Toyota Tacoma, grey
- purchased long hose and Scotch tape from Ace hardware
- searched for types of sleeping pills online
- he's an outdoorsman and had a favorite camping spot near Iochsa Lodge Idaho
- he would play his banjo near the river in Missoula
- traveling with just the truck, cash, new phone, and equipment from the hardware store


About 30hrs since last communication

He charged his card and checked out of Missoula MT COMFORT INN at 740 am

Montana and Idaho county sheriffs adjacent to this area have been notified as have Idaho and Montana highway patrol.

As far as law enforcement response, typically the circumstances you mention do not provide exigency to ping any electronics, social media, cc info etc. Danger to self alone does not provide exigency. Hope ya’ll find him soon.
