-centerfire big game rifle
-$1200 max
-likely won't ever be taking shots out past 350y, hunt mostly in western Oregon. Maybe 12x magnification max (3-12x42 maybe) no exposed turrets
-lightweight is a plus
-lifetime warranty
-no vortex
-great in low light and fog resistant

What do you think?

Light weight, great glass that is great in low light and fog resistant, choice of duplex crosshairs or 4W and BRH type reticles, limited life time warranty, great name and under budget.

So far this is the most intriguing option, but what I'm reading about it says it's not really the best in full daytime light . Can anyone weigh in on that

The illumination is not daylight bright and might be what you are thinking of, the scope is fine in daylight though, at least for me so far. I have been busy and not shot much since I got it though.

I have a couple of SHV 3-10’s and a 3-12 S&B. Both great options in my opinion, but I would give the nod to the S&B in brightness and clarity, and it would be my pick if you can pick one up within your budget.
