Our three most popular spotters for backpack hunters are the Kowa 55 mm, Kowa 77mm and the Swaro 65mm. There is a wealth of information here on rokslide! and if you'd like to give me a call, I'd be happy to go in depth on my experience hunting with these spotters and how they compare with others I have used.

I had compared side by side with three other scopes. I think there’s another thread comparing to a Razor as well.
I use a Kowa 554. Great little spotter with amazing glass. FOV is a bit limited, but that is the compromise for the size/weight. Because of the weight, this thing is always in my pack.
Prior to this scope I used a Leupold Gold Ring HD 12-40. I really liked that spotter. The eye relief was fantastic so it was really easy to get behind. Good glass for the money.
Kowa TSN883 25-60x eyepiece. It is heavy and can be a PITA to haul with the tripod and pan head but the views are amazing. Most of my spotting is with binoculars and a tripod.
