Looking for a lighter that wont blow out under cover...

I used to have an air force survival lighter for my emergency pack. it was lost in the Paradise fire, so I am looking for something to replace it with. What quality, tried and tested lighters or fire starting devices are you all using? I really do not like zippo lighters, as they always seem to be out of fuel, or getting wet and not working. I carry matches in a waterproof case as well, but again, they have limitations. Thoughts?

I've been using an electric lighter for the last 6 months. It's been flawless so far. Totally windproof and it has a sealed housing. Runs on a rechargeable battery. I still keep a couple scriptos in the pack along with it.

I second the electric lighter. I've been using one for the last several months and have no complaints. I also keep a bic and matches for backup but have not needed them.
