I would suggest not moving to Idaho, it is not the place it was even 5 years ago, too many people moving into this state, cost of living in relation to the wage you will earn is now the worst in the nation. I try almost weekly to convince my wife we need to move to Wyoming, but she likes being around people and I don’t

Oregon is not far off: median income is $32,000. You won’t find much less than $500,000 worthwhile; even in the not so great parts

Actually, having spent a bunch of time Idaho (my brother and step mom live in Idaho) I am sure I will survive the 'gangbangers' you are describing.

I moved this march. Took a job 1/2 the pay I was making in CA. My family and I are very happy we made the leap.
