I live in Queen Creek, AZ and am looking at getting a bit more into long range shooting, especially to hone my hunting skills. I know that I am no where near ready for long range hunting, I don't feel like I could make a good shot. But feel it would be fun and help solidify skills.
My nearest desert spot has maybe 200 yds. I know Ben Avery, Cow Town, Rio Salado, and Phoenix Rod and Gun club have anywhere between 500 - 1000 depending on which one we're talking about, but they're all a decent drive for me.
I'm willing to make it if no one knows of anything better, just figured it was worth an ask.
