There's definitely deer out there. Sometimes pigs. Lots of quail.

iv seen deer pigs and turkeys out there as well as upland game and rabbits and such. saw a bear near there at cache creek with 2 cubs

I'll second the "lots of quail," aspect. Went out last weekend before archery closed and busted covey on covey on covey of birds. Not 5-10 either, but 20-50 birds at a time.
