I think you should be able to read without subscribing - not 100% sure since I do subscribe.

A blend of information and a some editorial done by choosing selective quotes of those involved:

I read it.....well, until it stunk too bad. Those eastern folk should bring them back home and root them where they once roamed.

That was a bit long winded. I didn't get to read the whole thing before I was bored. Somebody should tell the author that the wolf reintroduction has been discussed for 20 years now

The New Yorker...a liberal rag that has zero credibility. Kinda like NPR or any multitude of Progressive groupthink out there.
I feel like NPR presents the news in a left leaning way, but the info is generally factual. Serious question, what publications do you read that you consider to be middle/non-biased.

As far as the article, I’ve made it far enough that they’ve used ‘silencer’ twice now in a context that presents them as being unfair killing machines and I’m annoyed.

Fair question, answer? None.
Every news outlet has a bias, some worse than others. Obviously the left owns most of the media, but Gateway Pundit, Epoch TImes, Brietbart etal all have their right-sided spin.
Fox, The New York Post, The Washington Times, WSJ are probably the most in the middle, but still have bias from both sides, mostly right leaning.
Twitter, FB, Google....are all enemies of our republic. Look no further than last week's mea culpa from the New York Times in saying that Hunter Biden's laptop and emails were indeed genuine. We all remember The New York Post trying to get that story out but Facebook and Twitter literally banned them for 'fake news'--this is the oldest newspaper in America!--a story that was true all along. Social media alone swayed the election.

I read from all sides and form my own opinion at this point.

Yes, it’s a left-leaning magazine. All the more reason you should pay attention…THEY are driving the narrative - not us geniuses on Rokslide.

They have 1.2mil circulation - almost 100 years old.

Field and stream - 650k online only now

Grays sporting - 28k

Sporting classics - 60k+

So yes, feel free to ignore them while they tell our stories for us.

Agreed on point one, and agreed x 1000 on point two.

My google news feed is mostly WSJ, BBC and The Hill. But I throw in Al Jazeera, CNN and Fox for opposing views. Breitbart and Huff Post are for fiction entertainment only.
