Lightweight / Crossover Trail Boot

Anybody have a good recommendation on lightweight boots for September? I'm talking almost a trail running style high-top boot like the Hoka GTX pictured below.

I have the Hoka boot pictures and have been wearing it this spring but am beginning to wonder how this will hold up in the elk mountains.

It seems like Cam Hanes always had this style boot while he was with Under Armour.

Anybody else have suggested brands & models I should look into? Thanks in advance
