It’s been sitting in the safe too long, after buying another .308win
This was my first hunting rifle, and has treated me well! Hoping that someone can find a good home for it.
For right now, I’m looking to sell in my home state of Colorado. But with some patience, I could look into shipping it to your FFL.
It’s a left hand action, ruger American Gen 1 chambered in .308win (22” barrel)
It has a few hundred rounds through it, I don’t know an exact number. But it’s still an accurate rifle. I’ve had great luck with 168gr and lighter out of it, and it loves 130gr TTSX if that’s your interest.
It’s in an MDT Field Stock, which has been camo painted by yours truly. It comes with one 5 round Magpul magazine, but full disclosure, the P-Mags have to have a little material taken off of the feed lips to not interfere with the bolt. Metal AICS mags do not have this issue. The mag included has been modified to run smoothly.
The forward most pic rail screw was stripped from the factory, and was professionally drilled and tapped to a larger screw. They were all loctited and torqued at this time.
Also included is the original stock, which does have a Limbsaver Pad installed.
The action and barrel have some light scuffs, from carrying the rifle through some rough brush.
I would be happy if I got $500 for it, but don’t really know what its value is. So let me know if my price is off.
