Thanks, my father in law built it for us for a wedding present. He has a sawmill and cut the lumber then poured it with epoxy.

Did you cerakote the barrel?

I didn’t personally so I’m not sure if that came from the previous owner or the factory. It appears to be cerakote or a similar finish, you can see in the last picture where it’s printed “Stainless Steel” on the barrel.

Ok. It would have actually been a stainless finish not blackened unless it was blued. It is too bad someone did that to the rifle Been looking for one of these for a long time.

So maybe it’s just blued steel? I tried to look it up with the serial number but couldn’t find the exact model.

It's not. I have the blue version of this gun. It would have been stainless. Someone did something to it.

Definitely coated. That stock is also custom painted. I have the exact same lefty rifle and it was stainless finish which I left for many years. I did cerakote mine after years of use in the field.
