Got lucky and drew a Mid December Big bull tag in N.M. Unit 12.
I’ve never hunted post rut late season bulls.
What is your opinion on time of year to scout. Should I plan to go a week before the hunt starts? Or am I better to pre rut and try to find their bedroom?
im thinking there could be some false reads if I scout anytime near the rut, also thinking They will return to the same bedroom they were in Pre- Rut.
Maybe I’m overthinking it. Lol
