Late season greenheads

After seeing a post about the late season mallards I was inspired to get my butt off the couch today and went to find some birds. It's been damn cold here and I haven't seen it warmer than 8F since Christmas so I assumed the birds were all gone as even the river is frozen. I found some hitting a field, got permission around noon, then banged out my 7 greenheads by 1:30. Too bad the season ends tomorrow.
